• Hours/Week: Approximately 40+ hours, includes night calls and hospital rounding

• License/Certs: Board Certified/Eligible in Internal Medicine or Gastroenterology, Virginia medical license required
• Experience: Prior experience in GI procedures and outpatient care preferred

What You’ll Do:

• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic GI procedures in the Endoscopy Suite
• Manage outpatient GI consultations and follow-ups
• Rounding on hospital consults and overseeing inpatient care
• Attend night call duties managing urgent and emergent cases
• Collaborate with hospital team to coordinate patient care plans
• Ensure documentation of all procedures and patient interactions
• Adhere to facility protocols and participate in quality improvement activities

What You Need:

• MD/DO degree with a valid Virginia medical license or eligibility
• Board Certified/Eligible in Internal Medicine and GI
• Proven experience with outpatient and procedural GI care
• Ability to take night call shifts
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and collaboration skills
