ESS Clinical is seeking dedicated and student-focused School Psychologists to join our team for Albuquerque Public Schools for the 2026-2027 school year!
\n\nThe School Psychologist will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, educators, and families to ensure compliance with federal and state special education regulations while delivering high-quality, student-centered services.

\nPAY STARTING AT $60/hr W2!
- \n\t
- \n\tConduct psychoeducational evaluations to assess cognitive, academic, social-emotional, and behavioral functioning\n\t\n\t
- Interpret assessment data and provide written reports with recommendations for services and interventions\n\t
- Participate in IEP, MDT, and eligibility meetings in compliance with IDEA and state regulations\n\t
- Provide counseling, crisis intervention, and behavioral support services to students\n\t
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop intervention strategies and support plans\n\t
- Support MTSS/RTI frameworks through data-driven decision-making\n\t
- Assist with behavior intervention plans (BIPs) and functional behavior assessments (FBAs)\n\t
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines\n\t
- Provide consultation and training to school staff on mental health and behavioral strategies\n
Required Qualifications:
\n\n- \n\t
- Master’s, Educational Specialist (Ed.S.), or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution\n\t
- Completion of at least 60 graduate semester hours in school psychology or related program\n\t
- Completion of a 1,200-hour supervised internship, with at least 600 hours in a school setting\n\t
- Passing score on the Praxis School Psychologist Exam (or eligibility via NCSP certification)\n\t
- Eligibility for or possession of a New Mexico School Psychologist License (PreK–12)\n\t
- Ability to pass required background check and fingerprinting for school employment\n
