Position Description: TITLE: \t\t\tWarehouse Associate

POSITION SUMMARY
A successful Warehouse Associate is responsible for transporting packages and other merchandise from the warehouse to different locations. Warehouse drivers strictly follow route sheets to avoid delays in the delivery . At a minimum, the position requires good organizational skills as this person will be doing inventory along with delivery of those items.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
\tCompletes shipments by processing and loading orders.
\tPrepares orders by processing requests and supply orders; pulling materials; packing boxes; placing orders in delivery area.
\tCompletes deliveries by driving truck or van to and from designated sites.
\tMaintains truck or van by completing preventive maintenance requirements and arranging for repairs.
\tEnforces inventory controls by collecting stock location orders and printing requests.
\tProvides quality service by following organization standards.
\tPreserves safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat.
\tPromotes clean shipping supply area by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
\tCompletes reports by entering required information.
\tContributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
\tOther duties as assigned
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
\tAt least one year of Forklift experience
\tGood organizational skills with the ability to plan, coordinate and record inventory intake
\tStrong work ethic, leads by example and does what it takes to get the job done
\tProficient in Microsoft Office Suite and various other software programs for data entry
\tAbility to communicate with clarity at the frequencies required by management and customers
\tAbility to travel to multiple sites as required
\tWork independently with minimal supervision
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
\tMust be 21 or older
\tAble to work with minimal supervision and complete tasks assigned in a timely manner
\tValid drivers license and excellent driving record
\tMust be able to pass a DOT physical, pre-employment drug test, and background check
\tHigh School Diploma or GED
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS
\tBi-lingual (Spanish/English)
\tForklift experience
\tValid CDL

$20.00 - $22.00 Hourly
