About the Position

Our client is seeking a Lead Diesel Mechanic in Creola, Alabama. The ideal candidate will supervise 2-3 mechanics and have extensive experience in diesel engine repair and rebuilding.

Pay & Schedule

• Pay Rate: $25-$35 per hour, depending on experience
• Schedule: Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturdays required
• Typical Shift: 6 AM to 5 PM
• Overtime: Available after 40 hours

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage a team of 2-3 mechanics
• Perform engine rebuilds and repairs on diesel vehicles
• Ensure safety and compliance with all regulations

Minimum Requirements

• 5-10 years of recent, relevant, and verifiable diesel mechanic experience
• Some management experience required
• CDL preferred but not required
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years)
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
