Job Description:

\n

The Registered Nurse in the Cardiovascular ICU will provide specialized care to patients with complex cardiovascular conditions, including post-surgical recovery and catheterization interventions.

\n

Responsibilities:

\n

\n
• Interpret and manage dysrhythmias, multi-system organ failure, and thermoregulation.
\n
• Monitor and care for post-cardiac surgery patients and those undergoing cardiac catheterization.
\n
• Manage devices including Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump and Impella.
\n
• Administer medications, including continuous IV sedation and emergency medications.
\n

\n

Requirements:

\n

\n
• 3 years of Cardiovascular ICU experience; pass an EKG test.
\n
• Active IL license, CPR, ACLS, NIHSS certifications; Epic experience required.
\n
