Job Description:
Registered Nurse in Telemetry unit responsible for providing direct nursing care to patients using clinical judgment to provide patient safety and quality of care.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry readings.
- Administer medications including cardiac drips and participate in the initiation of Tikosyn/Sotalol therapy.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Float to all acute care units as needed.
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year recent Telemetry experience.
- Must have experience with TR Band's straight from procedure and some experience with Cardiac Drips including Heparin, Butamax, Lasix, and Cardizem.
- Must hold KS RN & BLS certifications.
- Experience with initiation process of Tikosyn/Sotalol.
