Rocktown Transport LLC is hiring CDL A Local Live Haul Drivers in Mount Crawford, VA. Drivers will be driving to the Monroe NC facility, picking up live turkeys, and hauling them back to the Mount Crawford, VA area. Drivers will be safely delivering 1 load per day. Rocktown Transport LLC is a family-owned contract carrier based in the Shenandoah Valley, specializing in the transportation of agricultural commodities including live poultry, bulk feed, and related ingredients. Compensation

• Guaranteed weekly pay: $1,750
  • Paid daily rate
  • Average hours weekly: 55-60
• Bonuses:
  • Sign on bonus: $1,500 paid after 45 days employed
  • Weekly attendance bonus: Report on time and work every day you’re scheduled in a week to receive an additional $50 per load for all loads that week
  • Driver referral bonus: $1,500 paid after 30 days, $500 paid after 120 days
  • Annual holiday bonus
• Paid via direct deposit bi-weekly

Home Time, Route, & Schedule

• Home time: Home daily 
• Schedule: Sunday – Thurday with some Fridays
• Shift: Night shift, start time between 3:00pm – 6:00pm
• Route: To Monroe, NC and back to Mount Crawford, VA
• Level of Touch: No touch freight

Equipment

• Late model Peterbilt and Kenworth Trucks
• Manual transmission
• Inward & outward facing cameras

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age  
• Must have CDL A license 
• Must have a minimum of 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience
• Previous live haul experience preferred
• Must be able to operate a manual transmission
• Must meet Department of Transportation (DOT) testing and physical requirements and be knowledgeable of DOT regulations 
• Must be able to pass a required pre-employment drug screen 
• Hiring Radius: Drivers must live within 70 miles of Mount Crawford, VA or be willing to relocate for this position
