CDL A Local Dry Van Drivers in Peosta, IA

River City Transport is hiring full-time CDL A local dry van drivers in Peosta, IA. River City Transport is a family owned and operated asset-based provider based out of Peosta, Iowa. RCT is looking to add OTR, regional, and local drivers. With dedicated contracts for some of the largest shippers in North America, we would like you join our team! Compensation:

• Average weekly pay range: $1,100 - $1,400+
  • Paid CPM or paid per load depending on lane
  • Average weekly miles: 1,500 - 2,000+
• Additional Pay:
  • Breakdown Pay: $150 per day if no replacement unit is available
  • Detention Pay: $25 per hour after 2 free hours
  • Clean level 1 inspection report: $100
  • Extra holiday pay: $150 incentive for driving on a holiday (8 holidays per year)
• Bonuses:
  • Referral bonus: $1,500 paid in increments over 1 year
  • Safety bonus: 2 CPM 
• Paid weekly via direct deposit

Home Time, Route, & Schedule

• Home time: Home daily & home weekends!
  • Must be open to an occasional overnight trip if needed
• Schedule: Monday to Friday
  • Start time: Between 4:00am - 7:00am
  • End time: Between 1:00pm - 5:00pm
• Route: Within a 300 mile radius of Peosta, IA
• Level of Touch: 95% No-touch freight

 Equipment:

• 2018 & newer Freightliner & International day cab & sleeper trucks
• All trucks are automatic
• Governed Speed: 69 mph on the foot, 72 mph on cruise
• Outward cameras, event triggered
• ELD equipped using Samsara system

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 23 years of age  
• Must have CDL A license
• Must have a minimum of 2 year verifiable commercial tractor-trailer driving experience
• No DUI's or felony driving convictions in the last 5 years
• No major violations in the last 3 years
• No more than 3 minor violations in the last 3 years
• Must meet Department of Transportation (DOT) testing and physical requirements and be knowledgeable of DOT regulations 
• Must be able to pass a background check and required pre-employment drug screen 
• Hiring Radius: Drivers must live within 50 miles of Peosta, IA
