Job Summary:
We are seeking a LCSW/LPC/QMHP/Licensed Therapist to join our team working remotely and in a correctional institution setting. The ideal candidate will have a background in behavioral health and possess strong skills in motivational interviewing, psychotherapy, and clinic operations. This position requires 14hrs per week on site in Rolla and is highly flexibleon what days/hours they are completed. No more or less is required.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans for patients
• Work with patients in person and remotely as needed.
• Provide individual and group therapy sessions using evidence-based practices
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care for clients
• Implement specialized care for individuals with PTSD and cognitive behavioral therapy techniques
• Support individuals with special education needs in a clinical setting

Skills:

• Demonstrated knowledge of psychotropic medications, including familiarity with commonly prescribed treatments in correctional settings such as antipsychotics, mood stabilizers, and antidepressants; ability to recognize appropriate medication use and monitor for side effects in incarcerated populations.
• Proficient in applying DSM-5 diagnostic criteria to assess and identify mental health disorders, with a strong understanding of symptomatology across mood, anxiety, psychotic, and personality disorders to support accurate clinical evaluations and treatment planning.
• Proficiency in motivational interviewing techniques
• Strong background in behavioral health practices
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and compliance standards
• Experience in psychotherapy and clinic operations
• Ability to provide specialized care
• Competence in implementing cognitive behavioral therapy strategies

Qualifications:

• Master's Degree in Sociology, Psychology, Social work, or related studies Mandatory
• Licensed Professional Counselor or Licensed Clinical Social Worker Mandatory
• Telehealth Certificate Highly Preferred
• QMHP Certificate Preferred
