Description

American Traveler is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with at least 2 years of acute care experience and an active CA license for a 13-week travel contract at a Level II Trauma hospital in Redding, CA.

Details

  • Acute care hospital setting with a Level II Trauma designation
  • Speech Pathology unit
  • 10-hour day shifts, every other weekend (EOW)
  • Cerner EMR in use for this position
  • 13-week contract

Requirements

  • Active CA Speech-Language Pathology license required (if applicable); pending licenses will not be accepted
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in an acute care setting
  • Active BLS certification required; pending certifications will not be accepted
  • COVID vaccination required
  • Active Driver's License required for consideration
  • 2 professional references required: one supervisor from within the last 12 months and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years, each including dates of employment and eligibility for rehire

Additional Information

  • Candidates who have been directly employed (full-time, part-time, or PRN) by any CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity affiliated facility within the past year are not eligible; candidates employed PRN through outside firms will be considered
  • Orientation is 12 hours
