The CT Technologist, under the direction of the Radiology Manager and the Radiologist, performs computerized Tomography procedures including procedures of an invasive nature. Machine is a Toshiba Aquilon 64 slice scanner. The CT Technologist positions and instructs the patient, operates various pieces of specialized equipment and determines the technical factors for exposure. They must insure correct marking/labeling of all films. The CT Technologist must consistently provide safe, quality patient care. They also must take call.Graduate of approved AMA school of Radiology and be a registered ARRTPossess knowledge in cross sectional anatomyPossession of two years diagnostic experience desirableModerate to heavy physical effort required. Must apply proper body mechanics to safely transport patients and equipmentAbility to lift 40 pounds from floor to wheelchair or waist??
