AOI Machine Operator
Summary
Touch up Soldering Operator: Visually inspect and manually touch-up and/or repair soldering defects from printed circuit board assemblies (PCBAs)
Quality Inspector: Perform quality inspections on products and materials to ensure they comply with the required standards of the company's Quality Control Plan and customer specifications
Set-up Machine Operator SMT-Surface Mount Technology: The machine operator sets up all required machines to run PCB's including board loader, screen printer, re-flow oven and conveyors
Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform basic electrical and/or optical final tests on production PCBAs as assigned by the Test Lead/Supervisor.
- Operate standard test equipment, meters, fixtures, and tools to verify functionality.
- Follow detailed written test procedures and work instructions.
- Accurately record test data, results, and observations in required documentation or computer systems.
- Identify test failures and report issues to the Test Lead/Supervisor.
- Learn basic troubleshooting techniques and proper use of test equipment.
- Adhere to all safety, quality, and ESD (electrostatic discharge) procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with manufacturing standards
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Basic computer skills and ability to enter data accurately.
- Ability to read and follow detailed work instructions and work effectively in a fast-paced production team environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Good verbal and written communication skills
Physical Demands
- Stand for long hours, walk, use hands to handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, talk, and hear.
- Occasional lifting/moving up to 25 lbs.
- Close, distance, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
