Pay: $17.00 per hour

Job Description

The Cook prepares high-quality meals for restaurant guests, maintaining food safety, kitchen cleanliness, and adherence to recipes and standards.

Areas of Responsibility and Duties

• Prepare ingredients and cook menu items as directed
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of kitchen and equipment
• Follow health and food safety regulations
• Assist in receiving and storing food supplies
• Collaborate with kitchen staff for smooth operations
• Maintain presentation and quality standards for all dishes
• Clean kitchen and wash dishes as assigned
• Perform other duties as assigned by head chef or manager

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Skills: Knowledge of safe food handling and kitchen equipment

• Experience: 1+ years as a cook preferred

Working Conditions
Busy restaurant kitchen; exposure to heat, cooking equipment, cleaning supplies.

Physical Requirements
Requires standing, lifting, bending, and quick movement for most of shift.

Schedule: Morning, evening, and weekend shifts

License/Certification: Food handler’s permit preferred
