Village Maintenance Worker
The Miccosukee Tribe of Indians of Florida is currently seeking a qualified Maintenance Laborer for the Miccosukee Indian Village. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience in lawn maintenance and grounds-keeping, along with a solid understanding of general maintenance procedures, equipment operation, and cleaning chemicals. This role is responsible for maintaining the overall appearance and functionality of village grounds and facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine custodial duties for village buildings and common areas
• Maintain outdoor grounds, including lawn care, landscaping, and upkeep of green spaces
• Conduct minor repairs, painting, and general maintenance tasks
• Operate and maintain maintenance tools and equipment safely and effectively
• Collaborate with team members and other departments to complete projects efficiently
• Assist with setup and cleanup for special events as needed
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in lawn maintenance and general facilities upkeep
• Knowledge of cleaning methods, materials, and safety procedures
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
• Dependable, mature, and self-motivated
• Flexible schedule, including availability for weekends, holidays, and special events
