Job Description:
A skilled Cardiovascular Technologist who specializes in pediatric procedures, specifically in diagnosing and treating congenital heart defects and conducting electrophysiology assessments for children, is needed for a pediatric cath lab.
Responsibilities:
- Perform pediatric congenital diagnostic and interventional procedures such as LHC/RHC, PDA/VSD/ASD closures, septostomy, congenital structure stenting/ballooning, and collateral closure.
- Engage in pediatric electrophysiology activities, including pacemaker implant and generator exchanges, loop recorder implant/removals, and EP studies with radiofrequency ablations for SVT, WPW, atrial Tach, and PVC.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience, preferably in a pediatric cath lab.
- Valid BLS, PALS, RCIS and/or ARRT certifications, along with a current WA state Rad Tech and/or CISC license.
- Proficiency in using equipment and technology such as PACS: Picom, Hemodynamic: Merge, and C-arm: Siemens Artis.
- Experience with EPIC Cupid preferred.
- Able to respond within 45 minutes of being called; no sleep room available onsite.
