Job Summary:
Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Technologist position in a pediatric cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology program. This 17-week contract involves performing pediatric congenital diagnostic and interventional procedures, as well as electrophysiology interventions. The role requires supporting a specialized team in a level II pediatric trauma center with a focus on pediatric cardiac and vascular cases.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Days shift, 10 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Certifications in BLS, PALS, RCIS and/or ARRT, current Washington state Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech) and/or Cardiovascular Intervention Specialist (CISC) license; 2 years of relevant pediatric cath lab experience; experience with pediatric congenital diagnostic and interventional procedures including LHC/ RHC, PDA/VSD/ASD closures, septostomy, congenital structure stenting/ballooning, collateral closure; pediatric electrophysiology procedures such as pacemaker implant and generator exchanges, loop recorder implant/removals, EP study with radiofrequency ablations for SVT, WPW, atrial Tach, PVC; monitoring experience preferred, sedation provided by Anesthesia.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with PACS (Picom), Hemodynamic Merge, Siemens Artis C-arm, EMR (EPIC Cupid) experience preferred.
  • Float: Float rotation may be required.
  • Weekend Rotation: Call only for weekend coverage; 1-2 weekends per month, approximately every third week.
  • On Call: 7 call shifts in a 3-week rotation, including weekends. Weekday call from EOS to 0700 following day; weekend call from EOS Friday to 0700 Monday; 45-minute response time.
  • Holiday Expectations: Call only; included in department call rotation.
  • Scrub Color: Provided by hospital; lead scrubs available with extended sizing options.
  • Additional Information: This role supports a pediatric level II trauma center with 82 beds and a dedicated Cardiac Cath Lab program.
