Job Summary
The Cardiovascular Cath Lab Technologist (CCL TECH) position in the pediatric cardiac catheterization lab is based at a level II pediatric trauma center. This 15-week travel assignment involves supporting pediatric congenital diagnostic and interventional procedures, as well as electrophysiology cases, delivering critical care in a specialized pediatric environment.
Job Details
- Position: Cardiovascular Cath Lab Technologist Pediatric Cardiac Catheterization Lab
- Location: Pediatric trauma center with a 82-bed capacity, specializing in pediatric emergent and interventional procedures.
- Schedule: 0700-1730, 10-hour shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Certifications/Education Requirements: BLS, PALS, RCIS and/or ARRT, current Washington state Radiologic Technician and/or CISC license, with at least 2 years of experience in pediatric cath lab procedures.
- Experience Requirements: Prior pediatric cath lab experience including diagnostic and interventional procedures like LHC/RHC, PDA/VSD/ASD closures, septostomy, and congenital structure interventions, as well as electrophysiology procedures like pacemaker and generator exchanges, EP studies, and RF ablations.
- Roles and Responsibilities: Circulator and patient monitoring during pediatric congenital and electrophysiology procedures; monitor using systems such as PACS: Picom and Merge Hemodynamic; operate C-arm imaging systems like Siemens Artis; maintain EMR documentation (EPIC Cupid experience preferred).
- Additional Position Details: No float rotation required; weekend call coverage (1-2 weekends per month), primarily for emergency support within a 3-week rotation; weekday on-call responsibilities from EOS to 0700 the following day, with a 45-minute response time.
- Scrubs: Provided by the hospital, including lead scrubs; standard sizing with extended options unavailable for lead.
- Submission Requirements: Candidates must meet all listed certification and experience criteria and be available to start on 10/05/2026.
