Sterile Processing Technician "Urgent Hiring"

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Sterile Processing Technician to lead daily operations in the Sterile Processing Department. This role ensures that all surgical instruments and equipment are properly cleaned, disinfected, sterilized, and prepared to support safe patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• daily sterile processing workflow
• Oversee decontamination, assembly, and sterilization of instruments
• Ensure compliance with CDC, OSHA, Joint Commission (JC), and AAMI standards
• Perform and validate quality control and sterilization testing
• Train, mentor, and support sterile processing staff
• Manage surgical instruments and equipment tracking
• Collaborate with surgical and clinical teams to ensure smooth operations

Required Qualifications

• CRCST certification required (or equivalent)
• High School Diploma or GED
• 2–3 years of sterile processing experience minimum
• Strong knowledge of sterilization and infection control practices
• Proven leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
