Job Title: School-Based Occupational Therapist (OT)
Location: Merced, CA Area

Position Overview:
BlazerJobs is seeking a qualified and dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) for a full-time, school-based position in the Merced, CA area. This itinerant, district-wide role focuses on supporting students with moderate to severe needs, helping them develop the functional skills necessary for success in the educational environment.

Assignment Details:

Schedule: 37.5 hours per week
Setting: School-based, itinerant (district-wide)
Caseload: Moderate to Severe (additional details provided during the interview process)

Compensation:

Pay Range: $65–$75 per hour, based on experience and qualifications

Responsibilities:

Provide occupational therapy services in accordance with student IEP goals
Conduct evaluations, assessments, and progress monitoring
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with district, state, and federal regulations

Qualifications:

Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy
Active California OT license (or ability to obtain prior to start)
Required: California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC) certification/authorization
Experience with SEIS (Special Education Information System) Service Tracker preferred
Previous school-based experience and experience with moderate to severe populations preferred
