American Traveler is hiring a Multispecialty Ultrasound Technologist with 1+ years of experience in general, vascular, OB/fetal, and echocardiogram sonography for a Level IV Trauma Center.

- Short term acute care hospital setting with 49 staffed beds and Level IV Trauma Center designation \n
- Multispecialty role covering general ultrasound, fetal ultrasound, OB, breast, transvaginal, vascular, and echocardiogram studies \n
- Includes adult echo, contrast echo, and echo stress treadmill studies \n
- 4x10 hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM \n
- On-call required 5:00 PM to 8:00 AM Monday through Friday, and 24 hours on Saturday and Sunday \n
- Weekend on-call coverage required \n
- Patient ratio of 8:1 \n
- No floating between units required for this position, though floating between sister facilities may be expected \n
- Uses GE ultrasound equipment and PACS system \n
- Epic EMR experience required \n

- Minimum of 1 year of experience required \n
- ARDMS, ARDMS VT, CCI, or RDCS certification required \n
- BLS certification required \n
- Epic EMR experience required \n
- Compact state license must be in hand at time of submission; license required if applicable \n
- Experience with OB/GYN ultrasound including 1st, 2nd, and 3rd trimester studies, amniotic fluid index, and fetal anatomical survey \n
- Experience with general ultrasound including abdominal aorta, gallbladder, liver, pancreas, and spleen \n
- Vascular ultrasound experience including aorta, carotid, doppler studies, duplex, and upper/lower extremity arterial and venous studies \n
- Experience with renal/pelvis, transvaginal, and small parts ultrasound including breast, thyroid, and scrotum studies \n
- Knowledge of isolation precautions and PPE protocols \n
- First-time travelers will be considered for this position \n

- Perform a wide range of diagnostic ultrasound studies across OB/GYN, vascular, general, and cardiac specialties \n
- May assist with ultrasound-guided procedures such as paracentesis and fine needle aspiration biopsy \n
- May be expected to float between sister facilities within the region \n
- Scrubs are not required; OR staff wear street clothes to the facility \n
- Free parking available in any unrestricted space \n
- Must commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day) \n
- All time off requests must be submitted upfront during the application process \n
- Former Providence permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility \n
- Local candidates accepted at a lower bill rate within a 50-mile radius \n
- Two supervisory references required, covering at least 1 year of experience within the last 3 years \n
