American Traveler is hiring a Multispecialty Ultrasound Technologist / Sonographer with 2+ years of experience across general, OB/fetal, vascular, and echocardiography modalities for a 13-week travel assignment at a Level IV Trauma acute care hospital.
Details- Short-term acute care hospital with 49 staffed beds and a Level IV Trauma designation
- Multispecialty ultrasound unit covering general ultrasound, fetal/OB, breast, transvaginal, vascular, adult echo, contrast echo, and echo stress treadmill
- Patient ratio of 8:1
- 4x10 hour day shifts, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
- On-call required Monday–Friday from 5:00 PM–8:00 AM, and 24 hours on Saturday and Sunday
- No floating between units within this assignment
- Epic EMR required
- Travelers are expected to float between all facilities within the state — refusal to float may result in termination of the assignment
- Minimum of 2 years of ultrasound/sonography experience
- Experience required across all of the following modalities: general ultrasound, fetal ultrasound, OB, breast, transvaginal, vascular, echocardiogram, adult echo, contrast echo, and echo stress treadmill
- Proficiency with Epic EMR required
- Active professional license required if applicable
- BLS certification required
- ARDMS or equivalent certification required
- Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting
- SSN and DOB required for consideration
- First-time travelers will be considered for this position
- Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
- Minimal RTO is strongly preferred; excessive RTO requests may hinder placement
- All RTO and scheduling requests must be submitted prior to or at the time of consideration — post-offer requests may be denied
- Navy blue scrubs required for this role
- Free parking is available in any unrestricted space
