American Traveler is hiring a multispecialty Ultrasound Technologist / Sonographer with 2+ years of experience across general ultrasound, vascular, and echocardiography for a 13-week travel contract at a short-term acute care hospital.

- Short-term acute care hospital setting with 49 staffed beds, designated as a Level IV Trauma Center \n
- Multispecialty ultrasound unit covering general ultrasound, fetal/OB, breast, transvaginal, vascular, adult echo, contrast echo, and echo stress treadmill \n
- Patient ratio of 8:1 \n
- 4x10 hour day shifts, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM \n
- On-call is required: weekdays 5:00 PM – 8:00 AM and 24 hours on Saturday and Sunday \n
- No floating between units within this assignment; however, travelers are expected to float between all facilities within the state \n
- Epic EMR — experience required \n
- \n
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a comparable ultrasound/sonography specialty \n
- Must be a full-body tech with demonstrated experience in general ultrasound, fetal ultrasound, OB, breast, transvaginal, vascular, echocardiogram, adult echo, contrast echo, and echo stress treadmill \n
- Current BLS certification required \n
- Epic EMR proficiency required \n
- Active professional license required if applicable \n
- Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting \n
- Full SSN and DOB required for consideration \n

- Perform a broad range of ultrasound and echocardiography exams including general, OB/GYN, vascular, and cardiac studies \n
- Travelers who refuse to float between facilities within the state may be subject to assignment termination \n
- Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must reside more than 50 miles from the facility \n
- Minimal RTO is strongly preferred for this position \n
- Navy blue scrubs required \n
- Free parking available in any unrestricted space \n
- First-time travelers are not explicitly excluded but should be aware of the broad multispecialty scope required \n
