American Traveler is seeking a Multispecialty Ultrasound Technologist/Cardiac Sonographer with at least 1 year of experience across general, OB, vascular, and echocardiography imaging.

- Short-term acute care hospital designated as a Level IV Trauma Center with 49 staffed beds \n
- Multispecialty role covering general ultrasound, fetal/OB, breast, transvaginal, vascular, and echocardiography including contrast echo and stress treadmill echo \n
- Day shift schedule, 4x10 hours from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM \n
- On-call required 5:00 PM-8:00 AM Monday through Friday and 24 hours on Saturday and Sunday \n
- Weekend coverage required via on-call rotation \n
- Patient ratio of 8:1 \n
- No floating required between internal units, though travelers may float to nearby sister facilities \n
- Utilizes GE ultrasound equipment and PACS imaging system \n
- Epic EMR experience required \n
- \n
- Minimum of 1 year of experience required \n
- ARDMS, ARDMS VT, CCI, or RDCS certification and BLS required \n
- License required if applicable \n
- Compact state license must be active and in hand at time of submission \n
- Epic charting system experience required \n
- OB/GYN ultrasound experience including 1st, 2nd, and 3rd trimester studies, fetal anatomical survey, and amniotic fluid index \n
- General ultrasound experience including abdominal aorta, gallbladder, liver, pancreas, spleen, and pediatric abdomen/pelvis studies \n
- Vascular ultrasound experience including aorta, carotid, Doppler studies, duplex, and upper/lower extremity arterial and venous studies \n
- Renal/pelvis and transvaginal ultrasound experience \n
- Adult echocardiogram experience including contrast echo and echo stress treadmill studies \n
- Experience working with adult, pediatric, high-risk OB, ED, and ICU patient populations \n
- Breast ultrasound experience preferred \n
- Experience with ultrasound-guided biopsy, fine needle aspiration, and paracentesis preferred \n
- Transplant study experience (liver and renal) preferred \n

- Perform diagnostic ultrasound and echocardiography studies across a range of specialties and patient populations \n
- First-time travelers will be considered for this position \n
- 26-week contract extension available for interested candidates \n
- Must commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day) \n
- Former permanent staff may return as travelers after a 3-month waiting period, provided they reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility \n
- Local candidates within 50 miles accepted at a lower bill rate \n
- RN staff wear navy blue scrubs, RRTs may wear any color, and OR staff wear street clothes \n
- Free parking available in any unrestricted space \n
- Travelers may be required to float between sister facilities within the same region \n
