Job Description:

The Registered Nurse in the Pediatric Cath Lab is responsible for providing specialized care to pediatric patients undergoing cardiac procedures. This role involves closely monitoring patient conditions, administering treatments, and working alongside surgeons during diagnostic and interventional procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive care to pediatric patients with congenital heart conditions, including diagnostic and interventional procedures such as LHC/RHC, PDA/VSD/ASD closures, and septostomy.
• Assist in electrophysiology procedures like pacemaker implants and EP studies with radiofrequency ablations.
• Manage patient monitoring and participate as a circulator during procedures.
• Participate in the call rotation, covering call shifts including weekends and holidays, with a 45-minute response time.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Pediatric Cath Lab; prefer prior experience.
• No first-time travelers accepted.
• Active WA state or compact license, BLS, NIHSS, and PALS certifications required.
• Experience with EMR systems, preferably EPIC Cupid, and monitoring systems like PACS: Picom and hemodynamic systems like Merge.
• Willingness to participate in weekend and holiday call rotations.
