Job Summary\n

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified RN Case Manager to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities\n
    \n
  • Manage and coordinate comprehensive case management for a caseload up to 20-22 patients.
  • \n
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for effective discharge planning and care coordination.
  • \n
  • Utilize InterQual criteria to perform admission reviews and determine clinical eligibility.
  • \n
  • Ensure timely prior authorizations and documentation in Epic system.
  • \n
  • Act as a liaison between healthcare providers, ensuring coherent communication across service lines.
  • \n
  • Adhere to departmental weekend coverage, working at least 2 weekends in a 4-week schedule.
  • \n
Qualifications\n
    \n
  • Current CA state RN license required; pending license accepted with conditions.
  • \n
  • Minimum 2 years of acute care hospital experience as a case manager.
  • \n
  • Proficiency in the use of InterQual and Epic systems.
  • \n
  • Ability to work with HMOs, IPAs and during weekends as per department needs.
  • \n
  • Excellent assessment and care coordination skills.
  • \n
  • Previous charge experience and ability to manage a caseload independently.
