Job Description
Doctoral degree in Audiology (Au.D.), active Audiolist license and 1+ years Audiologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Make a meaningful difference in the lives of students as an Educational Audiologist providing essential services in a vibrant, supportive school setting. This full-time contract role spans from August 24th to October 19th, working 40 hours per week and supporting students from birth through age 22. You'll collaborate across multiple districts, assessing and addressing auditory needs to help students reach their full educational potential.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in Audiology from an accredited program
- Current Audiologist license (or eligibility) for school settings
- Experience or strong interest in working with students from birth to age 22
- Comfort with both in-person and virtual service delivery
- Excellent communication skills and adaptability
- Supportive, solution-oriented approach to student needs
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct auditory evaluations, hearing screenings, and assessments in person
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Advise and train school staff on best practices for supporting students with hearing loss
- Troubleshoot and service auditory equipment such as hearing aids and FM systems
- Provide recommendations for classroom accommodations and modifications
- Complete report writing, documentation, and follow-up duties, often remotely in a hybrid work setting
