Job Description:
The Registered Nurse in the NICU is responsible for providing specialized care to neonates in a level III-IV NICU. The nurse will work with high-risk deliveries and provide care for premature infants, patients with respiratory distress syndrome, and other common diagnoses.
Responsibilities:
- Provide respiratory support for vents, trachs, and g-tubes
- Manage NG/OG, NCPAP, UAC/UVC, PICC lines, and administer medication
- Create and implement care plans, including discharge to home
- Monitor growth and development of feeders/growers
- Support high-risk deliveries and surgical patients
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a Level III-IV NICU
- Active BLS, NRP certifications, and WA state license
- Proficient in EPIC EMR system
- Strong skills in respiratory support for vents, trachs, g-tubes, and PICC lines
- Positive attitude and excellent teamwork abilities
