\n\nJob Description\n

The Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse provides critical care to obstetric patients during labor and delivery. This role requires the ability to monitor both maternal and fetal health, assist with deliveries, and implement care plans while providing support to families.

\n\nResponsibilities\n

\n
• Monitor and assess maternal and fetal health during labor.
\n
• Assist with deliveries and provide immediate postnatal care.
\n
• Implement care plans and interventions as appropriate.
\n
• Educate patients and their families regarding labor processes and newborn care.
\n
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide comprehensive care.
\n

\n\nRequired Experience / Certifications / Licensure\n

\n
• Minimum of 18 months of permanent experience in Labor and Delivery.
\n
• Active Ohio nursing license or compact state license in hand.
\n
• Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NRP are required.
\n
• Must be prepared to provide one reference from a manager, supervisor, or director in Labor and Delivery.
\n
