Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Speech Language Pathologist to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

\n\nResponsibilities\n

• Provide individualized assessments and treatment plans for patients with speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
\n
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to improve patient outcomes in an acute care setting.
\n
• Utilize Cerner charting systems to document patient progress and care plans.
\n
• Educate patients and families on strategies to improve communication and swallowing function.
\n
• Adhere to facility cancellation policies and adjust in accordance with assignment requirements.
\n
• Comply with all applicable regulations, including maintaining active BLS certification and state licensure.
\n

\n\nQualifications\n

\n
• Active BLS certification and California state license required.
\n
• Minimum of two years of experience in an acute care facility preferred.
\n
• Familiarity with Cerner charting systems.
\n
• COVID vaccine required for certification compliance.
\n
• Ability to work every other weekend as part of the schedule.
\n
• Flexibility to adapt to a Level 2 trauma care setting.
\n
