Key Responsibilities- Perform routine, stroke, and trauma MRI studies in a 2-scanner Radiology department averaging 25–30 scans per day
- Conduct patient transport, preparation, and safety screening prior to imaging
- Start IVs as required for contrast and other procedural needs
- Operate GE MRI equipment and navigate EMR (Epic) and PACS (McKesson) for documentation and image archiving
- Perform clerical duties associated with patient intake and departmental workflow
- Active Illinois state license (or confirmation that the application process has been initiated)
- ARRT certification with MR specialty (ARRT-MR)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Minimum of 2 years of MRI experience
- Ability to start IVs
- Must pass a drug screen; facility maintains a drug-free campus policy
- Experience operating GE MRI equipment
- Familiarity with Epic EMR and McKesson PACS systems
- No weekend, holiday, or on-call requirements, offering a consistent and predictable day-shift schedule
- Work alongside in-house radiologists in a structured Radiology department with dedicated departmental orientation support
