Bestica is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Hilo, Hawaii.

Any traveler not currently in possession of an active State of HI license must apply upon acceptance of offer. Candidate must have Hawaii License by start of assignment.
· Medical and religious exemption requests will not be accepted in lieu of documented proof of immunity.
Shift or schedule requirements.
\n 12-hour shifts - Days (0645 to 1915) - Scheduled 36 hours per week following first week of orientation. No guarantee of hours.
Equipment utilized in the unit/dept.
\n Meditech EMR; pyxis; wound vac; chest tubes.
Required skills and minimum years of experience.
\n2-10 years’ experience
\nSpecific licensures and certifications/registrations required.
\nBLS, ACLS (Preferred: PALS, Procedural Sedation, TNCC, ENPC)
\nFloating to other units/departments.
\nMedical Unit; Laulima Unit; Cardiovascular Unit (on rare occasions)
\nBed size/number of rooms for this unit/dept.
\nMedical - 77; Laulima (surgical Acute) - 18; Cardiovascular Unit - 15
\nNurse to patient ratio of this unit.
\nMedical 1:6 for days and eves, 1:8 for nights
\nLaulima 1:6
\nCardiovascular 1:4
\nRatio may vary due to unexpected leaves
\nDress Code.
\nProfessional nursing attire - clean scrubs
