Schedule / Job TypeContract | Full-Time | Onsite | Night Shift (1845–0715) | 12-Hour Shifts | 36 Hours per Week (after first week of orientation) | No guaranteed hours
Key Responsibilities- Float between multiple medical and surgical units including a Medical Unit, a Surgical Acute Unit, and a Cardiovascular Unit
- Provide direct patient care across units with varying nurse-to-patient ratios (up to 1:8 on nights in the medical unit)
- Utilize Meditech EMR for documentation and patient management
- Operate and manage equipment including Pyxis, wound vacs, and chest tubes
- Adhere to unit-specific orientation and training protocols for each assigned department
- Maintain professional nursing attire (clean scrubs) per dress code policy
- Active State of Hawaii RN license required by start of assignment
- Minimum 2 years of registered nursing experience (up to 10 years preferred)
- Current BLS certification
- Current ACLS certification
- Documented proof of immunity required; medical and religious exemptions will not be accepted in lieu of documentation
- PALS certification
- Procedural Sedation certification
- TNCC or ENPC certification
- Experience floating across medical, surgical, and cardiovascular nursing units
- Gain diverse clinical experience by rotating across medical, surgical acute, and cardiovascular units in a dynamic flex pool role
- Unit-specific orientation and training provided to support a smooth transition into each department
