A growing and reputable law firm is seeking a Family Law Litigation Attorney to join its Southfield office. This role is ideal for an experienced litigator with a strong background in family law and an established book of business.

You will handle a range of domestic relations matters in a client-focused and collaborative environment, with strong support and resources to continue growing your practice.

What You’ll Do

• Manage family law cases including divorce, custody, and support matters

• Represent clients in court, hearings, and negotiations

• Conduct discovery, draft motions, and handle case strategy

• Build and maintain a book of business

• Provide compassionate, client-focused legal counsel

• Collaborate with team members on complex cases

What You Bring

• 7+ years of litigation experience, focused on family law

• Strong courtroom and negotiation skills

• Portable book of business required (approximately 75% expected to transition)

• Ability to manage cases independently

• Licensed in Michigan (or ability to obtain)

• Strong interpersonal and client management skills
