OSMC has an opening at our Outpatient Surgery Center in Granger, Indiana for a full time opportunity for a Surgical First Assistant. OSMC is looking for an individual who has strong attention to detail and is goal driven. We are seeking someone to work at least 30 hours a week Monday through Friday working at least 3-10 hour shifts.

The Certified Surgical First Assist (CSFA) shall provide assistance in exposure, hemostasis, closure, and other intraoperative technical functions that help the surgeon carry out a safe operation with optimal patient results. In addition to intraoperative duties, the CSFA performs preoperative and postoperative duties to better facilitate patient care. The CSFA shall perform these functions during the operation under the direction and supervision of the surgeon and following appropriate laws and regulations. Must be a graduate of a Surgical Technologist program. Graduate of a Certified Surgical First Assist program. BLS Certification required to apply.
