Driver/Warehouse Technician

Job Overview

The Driver / Warehouse Technician is responsible for supporting the preparation, transportation, execution, and return of equipment for company shows and projects. This role plays a critical part in maintaining accurate inventory, ensuring equipment is properly prepared and handled, and supporting efficient warehouse operations while safely transporting company assets between locations.

This position requires a strong attention to detail, accountability, and a safety-first mindset while operating company vehicles and handling equipment. The Driver / Warehouse Technician works closely with all departments to prep and de-prep shows, follow established workflows, complete deliveries and pickups on schedule, and uphold 3G’s standards for quality, safety, and organization.

General Tasks/Duties:

• Prep and de-prep shows
• Follow workflow procedures
• Work with all company departments
• Maintain a clean working environment
• Scanning equipment in/out on company software (Flex Rental Solutions)
• Maintaining an accurate inventory
• Report damage, broken and out of commission equipment to Warehouse Manager
• Replace missing and/or damaged bar codes
• Loading and unloading truck(s) and van(s)
• Interphase with co-workers to prep/de-prep shows
• Maintain all equipment to the highest standards
• Drive company vehicle for any equipment show or vendors needs
• Manage shipping and receiving
• Drive forklift (certification required)
• Always maintain a friendly and professional environment with co-workers and customers
• Such other duties as may be determined and assigned by 3G.

Qualification and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 25 years old (required to be on company auto insurance)
• Experience driving commercial vehicles, including sprinter vans and box trucks
• Knowledge working in inventory software programs
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and motivate personnel
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Someone who enjoys building relationships with vendors and co-workers
• Knowledge of the Microsoft suite products, including Teams, OneDrive, Sharepoint, Outlook, Word, and Excel
• Demonstrated aptitude for learning new technologies
• Ability to work in fast paced work environment
• Must be self-motivated and well organized

Schedule / Hours of Work

• Normal business hours Monday-Friday 8 AM to 5 PM. On-call availability after hours
• Driving on weekends and after hours as needed
