Job SummaryCuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Radiology/Imaging - Radiation Therapist to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.
Responsibilities- Administer radiation therapy to patients according to the established plan of care.
- Ensure radiation safety measures are adhered to at all times.
- Prepare patients for treatment, including positioning them correctly and explaining procedures.
- Monitor patient reactions to treatment and report any adverse effects.
- Maintain accurate patient records and treatment documentation.
- Collaborate with the oncology team to support patient-centered care.
- Current state licensure as a Radiation Therapist.
- Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiation Therapy.
- Comprehensive understanding of radiation safety standards and procedures.
- Proficiency in operating radiation therapy equipment.
- Strong communication skills and ability to provide empathetic care.
- Prior experience in radiation therapy services preferred.
