About the Role:
Join The Blue Crab Grill as an Experienced Line Cook and bring your culinary skills to life in a vibrant, coastal-inspired atmosphere. We are looking for passionate individuals who thrive in a fast-paced kitchen and are eager to create memorable dining experiences for our guests.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook high-quality dishes in accordance with our menu standards.
- Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner and meets presentation standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work station throughout the shift.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service and communication.
- Monitor food inventory and assist in ordering supplies as needed.
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times.
- Assist in training and mentoring junior kitchen staff.
- Contribute to menu development and daily specials with creative input.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a high-volume kitchen environment.
- Proficient in various cooking techniques and kitchen equipment.
- Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Culinary degree or certification preferred but not required.
- Passion for seafood and a creative approach to cooking.
