Material Delivery Driver

Responsibilities

• Safely operate box trucks and commercial vehicles to deliver materials across designated routes.
• Load and unload cargo using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual lifting techniques while adhering to safety standards (as necessary).
• Ensure accurate and complete documentation of deliveries, including receipts and delivery logs.
• Provide excellent customer service by interacting professionally with clients during deliveries, answering questions, and addressing concerns.
• Follow planned routes efficiently while maintaining punctuality and adhering to traffic laws.
• Assist with warehouse tasks such as inventory management, moving materials within the facility, and supporting team members as needed.

Experience

• Demonstrated ability to load, unload, and handle heavy lifting safely and effectively.
• Familiarity with route driving, GPS navigation, and time management for efficient deliveries.
• Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and professional demeanor.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including moving boxes and heavy materials regularly throughout the shift.
