6 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.
This group does emissions test work for government vehicles, primarily doing fabrication, electrical component set up, and setting up the vehicles.
- Prepping vehicles from an emission standpoint
- Upfitting electrical components in the vehicles,
- Communicating well with the team lead and engineers
- Putting computer stacks, wiring, emission probes into the vehicle
- Checking temperature
- Weld fabrication of the exhaust systems
- Might set the whole vehicle up if something is not working, look into it, and fix it
- Suspension work, brake work, dropping the fuel tanks, sometimes tear down engines
Requirements:
- Associate's Degree preferred
- Strong electrical diagnostic skills
- Strong welding/fabrication skills
- 8-10 years of experience
