Rework/Solder Technician

Overview

Responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and reworking electronic equipment at the component and board level in a fast-paced production environment.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair electronic devices
• Read schematics and blueprints
• Perform through-hole and surface mount soldering
• Use multimeters, oscilloscopes, and other test equipment
• Identify and resolve circuit and configuration issues
• Complete documentation and data entry for repairs
• Follow quality, safety, and ESD procedures

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in electronics repair or rework required
• Strong soldering skills (through-hole and surface mount)
• Ability to read and interpret schematics
• Experience using electronic test equipment
• Basic computer and math skills
• Strong attention to detail

Physical / Environment

• Lift up to 40 lbs
• Stand or sit for extended periods
• Cleanroom environment (ESD required)
