This position supports the daily treatment and training needs of individuals served at Selinsgrove Center. The role focuses on helping each person build skills in self care, social interaction, and health maintenance. As a Residential Services Aide, you will perform the following duties:
- Individual Habilitation Plan (IHP) and Individual Support Plan (ISP) Support: Complete portions of assessments and training information to help develop individualized plans
- Active Treatment: Carry out designated training plans and procedures to support skill development
- Progress Monitoring: Record and report required information to support updates to individual plans
- Team Collaboration: Share observations and communicate needs with the Interdisciplinary Team
- Therapeutic Environment: Assist with selecting and maintaining items that support a positive living space

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment, 40 hours per week
- Work hours are 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM, rotating days off, with a 30-minute lunch. This work schedule includes every 3rd weekend off.
- Overtime and travel as operationally necessary
- Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
- Salary: Selected candidates who are new to employment with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $42,521.00 (before taxes).

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- Successful completion of the Aide Trainee program (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
- Six months of paid experience in the care, activities, and personal guidance of individuals with intellectual disabilities.

- You must be able to perform essential job functions.

- A conditional offer of employment will require a medical examination and drug screening.
- This position falls under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act.
