Service Technician

Pay: $16–$17/hour

Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM–4:30 PM

Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Service Technician to join our team. This position involves operating a pump truck to service portable restroom units along a designated daily route. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, values cleanliness, and delivers excellent customer service at every stop.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate a pump truck on an assigned daily route
• Service portable restroom units by:
  • Pumping waste from holding tanks
  • Refilling fresh water
  • Cleaning and sanitizing unit interiors and exteriors
  • Restocking supplies (toilet paper, deodorizers, etc.)
• Perform basic inspections and report maintenance or repair needs
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the truck and equipment
• Accurately complete route logs and paperwork
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies
• Provide professional, courteous service at all customer locations

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license (Real ID preferred)
• Ability to safely operate and maneuver a pump truck
• Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and follow a structured route schedule

Preferred Experience

• Previous cleaning or sanitation experience
• Driving experience with F450 or larger vehicles
• Prior pump truck or similar service vehicle experience
• Self-motivated with strong time management skills

Work Environment

This role offers a consistent weekday schedule with the potential for overtime and occasional weekend work. You’ll work independently in an outdoor environment, servicing customer sites in various weather conditions.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $17.00/hr.
