Schedule/Hours:
- Night shifts
- Every other weekend required
- Some holidays required
Qualifications:
- Active New York State RN license and BLS certification (or ability to recertify)
- Minimum 1.5 years recent experience in a comparable acute care facility or trauma center
- Previous work in hospitals of equal or greater size or trauma status
- EPIC Electronic Medical Records experience preferred
- Solid IV start, lab draw, and telemetry monitoring skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Clean professional record with no license suspensions or unwarranted investigation
- Able to pass pre-employment health, criminal background, and drug screenings
- Legal eligibility to work in the U.S.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care, including thorough assessments and interventions
- Utilize strong clinical judgment in an acute care adult med/surg environment
- Start IVs, draw labs, and monitor telemetry with minimal supervision
- Adapt quickly with minimal orientation and contribute to cohesive team operations
