American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Float Pool position requiring a CO or compact RN license and night shift availability.
Details\n- \n
- Hospital setting within a Nursing Float Pool \n
- Float pool assignment covering Medical Surgical, Surgical, Medical Oncology, Inpatient Rehab, Cardiac, and Neuro Trauma Spine units \n
- Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts, 1900-0730 \n
- 36 hours per week \n
- Weekend shifts required \n
- Flexibility to switch to day shift may be needed \n
- May be placed on-call during a regularly scheduled shift \n
- Uses Epic for charting \n
- \n
- Active RN license (Single State or Compact, CO) \n
- Current AHA-issued BLS and ACLS certifications required, not expiring prior to start \n
- NIHSS certification required \n
- Minimum 1 year of RN experience in the specialty required \n
- ASN required, BSN preferred \n
- Epic EMR experience required \n
- DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration \n

- Perform independent nursing functions and delegated medical duties per state Board of Nursing standards \n
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care across multiple units \n
- Provide health teaching, counseling, and therapeutic treatment \n
- Document care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines \n
- Float to other departments within scope of competency based on business need \n
- RTO requests reviewed and approved or denied based on unit needs \n
- Former Intermountain permanent staff must be separated from the facility for at least one year before eligibility for this assignment \n
