Customer Care Specialist
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Position Overview

The Customer Care Specialist serves as the face of TASTE’s Home Office, delivering exceptional service to guests, store teams, and partners across every touchpoint. This role owns the full guest experience cycle from initial contact through resolution while supporting interdepartmental operations and maintaining a warm, efficient HQ environment.

Key Responsibilities

Guest Care & Feedback

  • Monitor guest feedback across multiple channels; route messages to appropriate departments and escalate complex issues as needed
  • Answer or redirect inbound calls and emails; return voicemails promptly and professionally
  • Respond to Google, Yelp, and social media inquiries in a timely, on-brand manner
  • Resolve guest concerns through service recovery methods (order remakes, refunds, TASTEBud credits, etc.)
  • Document all guest interactions, track rectification costs, and report on key metrics

Reception & Administrative Support

  • Greet guests and HQ visitors with hospitality and the TASTE spirit
  • Receive, sort, and distribute daily mail and package deliveries
  • Assist team members with product purchases and house account charges
  • Support guests and employees with loyalty account inquiries
  • Partner with tech platforms (e.g., Toast, DoorDash) to resolve guest and store issues

Interdepartmental Support

  • Provide cross-functional support and complete miscellaneous administrative tasks as assigned
  • Assist with setup and breakdown of HQ tours, events, and internal activities

Requirements

  • Guest-first mindset with warm, professional communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail
  • Comfortable with data entry and documentation across multiple platforms
  • Ability to manage competing priorities across departments simultaneously
  • Reliable transportation required
