Transaction Processing Associate II

Fully Remote Position (work from home)

$15.00 (hr)

Job Purpose:

Fulfill the adjudication life cycle for health insurance claims through either data entry of information or adjudication and resolution.

Duties:

• Responsible for providing support to business operations such as front end, image & data capture, and / or document / transaction content management. Provides administrative support to business operations by performing processing tasks such as data entry or similar activities
• The work undertaken by the role holder is completed in line with the Service Level Agreement and Statement of Work relevant for the customer including but not limited to turnaround times and quality
• Utilizes resources for training purposes, communication with client partners will be required; written and verbal professionalism is a must
• Attend meetings or trainings with management or client trainers via online services including Zoom, Teams, etc.
• Maintains HIPAA compliance in keeping a secure workspace both onsite or at home offices
• Position will require use of various programs; ideal candidates can monitor and manage multiple windows and monitors simultaneously
• Other tasks as assigned

Role Information:

• Position has no supervisory responsibilities
• A position that values speed and accuracy
• On-the-job virtual paid training scheduled M-F 7:00AM – 5:00PM EST
• Production will be scheduled M-F 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM EST 
• Overtime may be required on short notice dependent on inventory needs
• Position is virtual; home internet via Ethernet hardwire access is required
• Candidates will be expected to communicate virtually via computer conference and/or phone
• Payrate will be discussed during the interview process

Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or a GED
• Must have knowledge of computers and at-home work setups
• Must be able to type 40+ words per minute
• Must be able to submit to and pass a background screening
• Must be receptive to coaching and training as minimal quality requirements are in place

Relevant skills:

• 10-Key proficiency is a preferred skill to supplement alphanumeric typing
• Attention to detail
• Ability to be a self-starter and work with a high level of autonomy but also collaborate
• Insurance claims experience is preferred
• Medical terminology is beneficial but not required
