Maintenance Mechanic - Facilities - Now Hiring

Located in Somerset County, Matheny Medical and Educational Center has an opportunity available for a Full Time Maintenance Mechanic. This position is five days per week, Monday-Friday.

Duties of this position include:

• Repairs and maintains mechanical systems, including electrical, plumbing and heating.
• Maintains a neat and orderly appearance of all grounds and buildings.
• Sets up tables, chairs, and other items for various functions as needed.
• Picks ups various supplies, parts, and building materials and delivers items to various locations as needed.
• Assembles and installs equipment as necessary.
• Completes preventative maintenance checks according to schedule and documents/reports as required by regulations.
• Provides on-call service on a scheduled basis.
• Completes maintenance work orders.
• Maintains working knowledge of all emergency systems and procedures including fire alarm procedures.
• Executes work orders that support all Matheny locations

The hourly wage for this position is $20.51 - $30.76 per hour.

High School Diploma or G.E.D. required.

Licensure/Certifications:

New Jersey Low-Pressure Boiler Operator's License (Black Seal) preferred.

Certified Pool & Operator (CPO) preferred.

ASHE Certified Health Care Physical Environment Worker (CHCPEW) preferred.

New Jersey Driver’s license required.

CFC/Universal Certificate, Type II, 40-CFR, Part 82, Subpart F, preferred
