Engineering Technologist – Mechanical & Technical Support | Ogden, UT

Nexeo HR is seeking a skilled Engineering Technologist to join a high‑visibility infrastructure modernization program in Ogden, Utah. This role supports mechanical and technical engineering tasks across multiple U.S. locations, contributing to the design, construction, and integration of complex launch and facilities systems.

Responsibilities

• Support Mechanical Engineers, Project Engineers, and Engineering Managers with technical data extraction and analysis

• Track and report project progress, schedules, and engineering documentation

• Organize engineering submittals, drawings, and technical review materials

• Assist in preparation, review, and back‑checking of CAD and technical documents

• Maintain KPI registers and support continuous improvement initiatives

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to meet project objectives

Required Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship (required for facility access)

• Ability to obtain and maintain a Security Clearance

• Valid, unexpired Real ID‑compliant driver’s license or state ID

• Ability to pass pre‑employment background check and drug screening (including marijuana)

• 2+ years of relevant engineering or technical experience

• High School Diploma/GED with 4+ years of experience, or an Associate Degree in Engineering Technology or related field

• Strong computer skills: Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint

• Ability to read, interpret, and classify technical documentation

• Excellent organizational, communication, and team collaboration skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with CAD or engineering software

• Familiarity with Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs)

• Mechanical or infrastructure project experience

Pay

$58,000 per year

Schedule

8:00am–5:00pm, 9x80 work schedule (every other Friday off)
