Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Experience:

• 24 months of experience worked in the last 12 months.

• 24 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience with 9 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 3 months of Meditech experience is preferred.

• 9 months of acute care experience within the last 12 months.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Tennessee license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• No current placement allowed at Program: HealthTrust Program - HCA - Tristar Division.

Additional Details:

Any special scheduling requests must be made with Manager upon arrival at facility.

Required Skills/Experience: Start IVs, basic wound care, and maintenance of surgical drains, nasogastric tubes, and chest tubes.

Unit Details: Trauma Med/Surg unit. Tech support on day shift and night shift; unit secretary 7a-7p. Uses IV pumps, telemetry, SCDs, continuous pulse ox machines, feeding pumps, PCA, EKG machines, bladder scanner, and iMobile communication technology.

Shift & Scheduling: 3 12-hour shifts per week; 2 weekends (4 shifts) per 4-week schedule.

Floating Requirements: Contract labor is first to float; rotation applies when multiple contract labor staff are scheduled.
