Location: Downtown Houston, TX
Pay Rate: $14.00/hour
Shift: 3rd Shift | 10:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Schedule: Must be available to work weekends

Job Overview

We are seeking dependable, detail-oriented Sanitation Workers to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards within a secure correctional facility in Downtown Houston. This role is essential to ensuring a safe, sanitary, and professional environment. Candidates must be reliable, able to work independently, and comfortable in a fast-paced setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of assigned areas throughout the facility

• Wipe down surfaces, dust, and sanitize all designated work areas

• Clean and maintain sanitation equipment and supplies

• Complete daily sanitation logs and documentation accurately

• Follow all safety rules, procedures, and sanitation protocols

• Identify and report maintenance or safety concerns to the supervisor

• Work efficiently to meet daily deadlines and facility standards

QualificationsAbility to work independently and as part of a team

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

• Strong attention to detail and time management skills

• Ability to meet deadlines consistently

• Physically able to lift and carry heavy objects

• Valid Driver’s License or State ID required
