Job Summary:
Respiratory Therapist Registered (RT PEDS) in Key West, Florida. This travel position involves providing Cardiopulmonary services, including ventilator management, airway maintenance, and assisting with invasive and non-invasive procedures. Candidates must have a valid Florida Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) license and be prepared to bring their license on the first day of work.
Job Details:
- Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: Valid Florida RRT or CRT license, ACLS, BLS, PALS, NRP certifications; minimum of 2 years of relevant experience; candidates must be licensed in Florida.
- Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Additional Information: The Respiratory Therapist will work independently, utilize Medhost charting system, and assist with procedures such as arterial line insertion, intubations, pulmonary function tests, and blood gases. The position requires compliance with facility protocols and following standards approved by medical staff. Candidates must have experience working with NICU; Peds experience is also acceptable.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
