Job Overview
Maintenance Mechanical Technician specialized in the installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical and fluid systems. This position requires extensive knowledge of mechanical components as well as safety codes and regulations. Skills of the Industrial Mechanic range in level of experience and progression but will include general millwright, plumbing, pipe fitting, welding and fabrication, carpentry, concrete, and heavy equipment operations. Must be professional, technical, and mechanically proficient.
Key Job Responsibilities
- Industrial Mechanics can often be physically demanding. Installation and repair activities of equipment often requires the need to kneel, crawl, climb, and stand for extended periods of time.
- Must also be able to operate tools and measuring devices in close quarters and provide control and accuracy.
- Must also be able to understand and make decisions based on technical documents, such as blueprints, schematics, and written or verbal instructions.
- Must be motivated to work on their own and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills are a necessary part of this position as well as being capable of completing tasks with limited supervision.

• Must successfully pass pre-employment physical drug screening.
• Must be able to work overtime and weekends as required.
