Job Title: CNC Operator

Job Summary:
The CNC Operator is responsible for producing high-quality machined parts by interpreting technical documentation, performing inspections, maintaining accurate records, and supporting overall manufacturing operations. This role ensures adherence to specifications, efficiency in production, and consistent product quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Read and interpret routings, blueprints, and manufacturing documentation in accordance with established manufacturing (MFG) practices.
  • Perform first article inspections, ensuring all specifications and standards are met and properly documented.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed inspection records in compliance with inspection procedures.
  • Update routings and CNC programs to reflect process changes.
  • Deburr and package products according to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Identify and follow proper procedures for handling non-conforming materials.
  • Ensure products meet quality standards, production timelines, and quantity requirements.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Accurately enter production data into computer systems for all manufacturing processes.
  • Assist in training machine operators and provide support as workload demands.
  • Collaborate with machine operators and production staff to ensure smooth workflow.
  • Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned by supervisors or team leads.

Qualifications (optional to include):

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
  • Experience operating CNC machinery preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Basic computer and data entry skills
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes and quality standards
  • Team-oriented with good communication skills
