Job Summary
We are seeking a talented Carpenter/Handyman to join our team! In this role, you will work with customers construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures of wood, plywood, tile, mechanicals, mud, tape, and wallboard using the carpenter’s/handyman's hand and power tools. The ideal candidate is hard-working and dedicated to producing quality work. If you are an experienced Carpenter/Handyman with a positive attitude, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Follow all safety rules and regulations
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Use blueprints, sketches, or building plans to determine construction requirements and materials needed
- House repairs, all aspects of construction, working iPad tablet, and billing customers.
- Install fixtures and materials such as windows, flooring, trim, and hardware
- Interact with customers, suppliers, and other construction professionals
Qualifications
- 10 years Previous experience as a Carpenter/Handyman is preferred
- Strong understanding of mathematical concepts and measurements
- Ability to read and take action on blueprints
- Ability to safely operate hand and power carpentry tools
- Knowledge of building regulations and codes
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects
